Below 3 photos: 1st Generation Single Action Colt. This gun was originally a hulk that someone previously had horribly overbuffed and then reblued, all the metal to metal joints had been destroyed, edges rounded, screw holes hogged out and etc. After resurfacing the edges and surfaces properly to restore factory lines, we finished the piece as a factory refurbishment in blue and color case with nitre blued screws, etc. At the owner's request we fitted the revolver with a new 2nd Generation barrel and cylinder.
Below: one of a pair of custom 1878 Double Action Army Colt's with 3½" barrels in .45 Colt. Grip frames re-shaped to M-H skull-crusher shape, custom ivory grips, custom Bisley style hammers.
below 4 photos: a WWII, 1911-A1 several times rebuilt, formerly extra rusty and badly pitted .45 automatic that served many years in the south Pacific, refurbished as the arsenal would have in parkerize and blue by David T. Chicoine.
A Colt Richards-Mason 1860 conversion, brought back from a rusted, dug-up relic by David R. Chicoine.

This well used black-powder era SAA has been fitted with a 10" barrel and at the owner's request, we machined a duplicate of the target front sight used on the flat-top SAA.
Below 2 photos: One piece grips for a Colt Single Action crafted from Sambar stag by DRC shown in-progress.
Below: A Merwin-Hulbert .44 Pocket Army. This gun had been several times previously refinished and after restoring the surfaces properly, was given a factory-like refurbishment by David R. Chicoine.

Below 3 photos: One piece grips for a Colt Single Action crafted from exotic snakewood by DRC
below: The Colt the Snakewood grips were made for. A many times refinished, formerly overbuffed 1900 gun that had seen loads of hard use. The owner wanted the gun in full blue. We built the gun as a convertable in 38-40/41 Long Colt with a custom (and very comfortable) Bisley hammer.
Below: A Great Western .45 from the 1950s given a factory refurbishment by David R. Chicoine.
Below, A still-unfinished custom-made 3½" Barrel made by David R. Chicoine that will end up on a custom 1878 double action, we had Dave Lanara stamp the original Colt markings for us.
