The nice matt black color on the receiver is super-tough melonizing, done by Ron Smith at Smith Enterprise, the barrel is slow rust blued. |

We machined the sight base and manufactured a copy of the original S&W 1/2 moon front and pinned in in place like an S&W target sight of the same vintage. |
