above: 1873 Winchester deluxe short rifle in 44/40. Wood, mechanical, metal, hand-made screws and finish work restoration by DRC.

above: Colt Richards-Mason conversion brought back to life from what once was a rusted, dug-up western relic

above & below: Smith & Wesson 2nd Model Schofield, mechanical restoration, finish restoration and hand-made grips on a gun that started out as (literally) a dug-up Texas relic, shown 98% finished. By David R. Chicoine

above 2 photos : WW-1 P-08 German DWM Luger; this gun was a horribly rusted battlefield pick-up that had been many times over-polished and reblued before we got it. Shown after restoration to some semblance of its original dignity, fitted with Swiss grips, a custom made patridge front sight and windage adjustable rear by David T. Chicoine

below: a German G-43 magazine, restored by DTC

below: a selection of military rifle restorations from top: G-43, K-98K, CZ-VZ24, No. 4 Mark 1* by DTC.

below: Uberti .44 Russian cylinder, altered to fit an original S&W 1st Model Russian, shown fitted with the S&W extractor

Above, two photos: hand-made reproductions of original S&W .320 Rifle front and rear sights.

above: a beautiful factory engraved .38 Single Action "Baby Russian", in for mechanical repairs.

Above and below: DTC restored the finishes on a S&W .357 Registered Magnum (the barrel is actually a 1950's pre-27, owner-converted to work on the pre-war frame.)

Above: a Smith & Wesson 2 inch M&P fixed sight barrel we altered to accept a period (1940s) target front sight

above: a post-1964 Winchester Model 94 - formerly a 30-30 carbine. Marbles tang sight added, re-barreled to 38-55 with a 27"~ ½ round/octagon Badger barrel and converted to a button magazine. The nice matt black color on the receiver is super-tough melonizing, done by Ron Smith at Smith Enterprise, the barrel is slow rust blued.

above: a few photos of a restored S&W Registered .357 Magnum. The 3½" barrel had been previously shortened to 4" from a 6½", we finished the barrel at 3½" as the factory would have. Notice the acute attention to detail. Finish work by David T. Chicoine.

above; a 1920s vintage Colt Single Action Army that had been previously badly refinished, overbuffed and nearly ruined. The gun has also had a 2nd generation .44 Special barrel installed. Work by David R. Chicoine

above two photos: A Savage 99 with a checkering pattern fashioned after the original 1895 Savage patent drawings in 22 LPI.

above 2 photos: a rare 1950s .44 Magnum that came to us after being very badly refinished, restored by David T. Chicoine 2007

Below 3 photos: a 1950 vintage S&W .38 Terrier returned to factory condition by DTC

Below two photos, top: a 1917 Commercial S&W refinished by DTC showing the care that goes into preseving factory markings.

bottom: this 1917 had its sight hacksawed throught and a Springfield rifle front sight crudely pinned in place. We machined the sight base and manufactured a copy of the original S&W 1/2 moon front and pinned in in place like an S&W target sight of the same vintage.

Below: S&W Hand Ejector trademark stampings, before and after.

Below: A restored 1911-A1 Colt, rebuilt from an extra deeply pitted and rusted GI by DTC.

Have a look at a real rusted junker that we brought back from the dead
