Other shotguns

Hopkins & Allen 12 gauge double, rebounding hammers, dt. The 32" barrels are choked, the bores are pitted but still surprisingly bright and they appear to be fluid steel. The metal is all grey, markings are very good with nice serrations on the rib. Barrels are just slightly loose. One hammer screw replaced. Seems to function very well, the wood is tight and mostly very strong checkering. Might be a very good candidate for a Cowboy coach gun! Antique about very good. SOLD
Spencer 12 gauge double, rebounding hammers, dt, made by Hopkins & Allen (Spencer was one of thier trade names.) The 18½" barrels are cyl/cyl, the bores are pitted, they appear to be fluid steel. The metal is all grey, markings are good. Barrels are slightly loose. Seems to function alright but this double is being sold as-is; it may need some work. The wood is tight and some checkering remains. Might be a good candidate for a Cowboy coach gun! Antique about good. SOLD
Colt double shotgun Model 1883, s/n 4269, 12 gauge hammerless, extractor, manufactured in 1889. The is the 2nd or “finer, fancier” grade with scroll designs on frame and nicely patterned Damascus barrels. The 30” barrels still show strong patterns and have uniformly pitted (medium depth) bores that are choked .710”/.730” with slight denting at the right muzzle. Receiver metal is all grey with excellent markings and engraving, traces of case colors in protected areas. Walnut stocks are worn and have been re-coated with varnish but are not sanded undersized. The LOP is 13¾” and the butt stock has not been shortened, the comb appears to have been altered to fit someone's hand. Checkering and buttplate are very worn but patterns are still visible. We can see a fine crack in the wrist, within the checkering on the right side. Mechanically it is very tight and appears to function perfectly. NRA antique very good to fine. $1195.00 Reduced to $999.!
Lefever Nitro Special. Serial #273265, Ithaca manufactured 1929. 30" barrels, 12 gauge, excellent shiny bores, choked F/M, tight action. Muzzeloading shotguns

English made flintlock single barrel shotgun, probably vintage about 1770 to 1790's, cannot find a makers name but a good set of proofs on top of the 42” barrel and the remnants of the word LONDON. 16 bore (.668") the muzzle end is still round and there are no major dents apparent. The sporting size lock is missing many parts but the original frizzen is there along with its spring and it works. Iron mounted, the stock is coarsely but professionally checkered at the wrist, the wood is mostly intact and is mostly all there, missing nose cap and comes with a new hickory ramdod. The gun also comes with a pile of new replacement small parts for someone who wants to tinker and try to get it working again. Antique C06B-Engsgn. (this extra-extra long gun will require $35. to ship) REDUCED to final $199.
