1862 Police, 36 cal., . 6 ½”, 5 shot, frame-barrel match #8517
straps are mismatched, no cylinder number or markings remain,
bore is very good with pits but very strong rifling. Frame is
sharp-smooth grey patina with nice sharp corners and marks,
barrel is turned mostly brown patina with small splotches of blue.
Cylinder is bright grey with some medium-heavy external pitting,
new nipples. Mismatched straps (#29095) are all brass and intact
and with good markings. Operates very well. Slightly undersized
grips have no finish are smooth,sound and tight. O/A NRA antique
