JUST IN! Winchester Model 1892 rifle in 38-40 caliber, s/n 13293 (mfg 1892) 24” octagon barrel has a fair bore with visible rifling but it is pitted. Metal retains no original finish, it is pitted and has been “shined”, markings are all legible. The full length mag tube has obviously been replaced with one from another gun Original wood is somewhat shrunken but still sound, full of scratches and there is one serious chip missing from the front of the forearm, crescent buttplate.
