"Across the Continent" by Samuel Bowles, another copy of this rare and unique antique book but in even better condition than the one above: 1865 Hurd & Highes NY, slightly loose but very sound, in fact this book is in wonderful condition considering its age. Still has the original, readable, hand-colored folding inset map of the US is intact. hc, no dj. VG. Books like this did much to encourage westward expansion. $350.
