This issue represents the 29th issue of Dixie's Blackpowder Annual. They began publishing the newsstand-distributed magazine in 1976 and from the beginning it has been a general mix of interesting muzzleloading and blackpowder cartridge articles produced by some of the best writers.
The 2006 edition includes articles on blackpowder hunting for elk, deer, Mexico turkey and African gemsbok.
